The Ministry of Economy of Kuban has elaborated a preliminary forecast for economic and social development of the Territory for the next three years.
«International sanctions continue to affect the economy. At the same time, we manage to cope with challenges. As a result, the dynamics of the domestic regional product for the first half of 2023 was estimated at 103%, at the end of the year we expect growth of 102.5%, and its nominal volume may amount to more than 3.8 trillion rubles. According to the forecast of the regional Ministry of Economy, starting from 2024, the regional economy will accelerate its growth trajectory. By 2026, the volume of GRP is expected to exceed 4.7 trillion rubles,» – said the first vice-governor of the Krasnodar Territory Igor Galas.
He added that in 2023, the main contribution to the GRP dynamics will be made by industry, construction, as well as the consumer market. According to preliminary data, GRP growth will amount to 102.6% in 2024, 103.3% in 2025, and 103.4% in 2026.
When developing the forecast, experts took into account both external risks and opportunities for the regional and Russian economies.
