Representatives of the milling industry of the Russian Federation in September announced a deficit of food wheat of the third class, which is used for baking flour.
"This year, we hear the staggering forecasts for grain harvest, but a huge harvest, usually accompanied by poor quality grain," - said the president of the Russian Union of Mill and Groats Enterprises Arkady Gurevich.
He stressed that the quality of the grain decreases from year to year. According to preliminary data, as of September 1 share of third class wheat it was only 18%. Gurevich said that a deficit of wheat this year is estimated at 12.6 million tonnes.
According to him, a valuable substitute for wheat grain millers will lower classes.
"The project of guests who can be called adopted officially recognized where possible to enter into the grinding grain party even fifth grade wheat (fodder), if it is, of course, is not infected if meets the requirements that apply to the millers."
