Six companies from the Krasnodar Territory took part in the business mission. The meetings were organized within the framework of the Tashkent Fashion & Textile industry international exhibition.
During the meetings, business and government officials discussed the current state of Uzbekistan’s agro-industrial complex, key agricultural products that the country produces and exports, as well as the opportunities and potential for foreign investment.
«The business of the Krasnodar Territory managed to successfully hold B2B meetings, take part in the exhibition and conclude seven agreements of intent. For example, a light industry company signed a letter of intent with a supplier of fabrics whose textile products will be sold on the domestic market and exported to Abkhazia, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. The pharmaceutical company has reached preliminary agreements on the supply of the essential raw materials. A Kuban manufacturer of spare parts and components for agricultural equipment discussed possible trilateral cooperation with foreign companies, a cosmetics manufacturer from Anapa arranged the first deliveries of its products to the Republic,» said Vasily Vorobyev, Head of the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity of the Krasnodar Territory.
During the business mission, Kuban entrepreneurs visited the Khantex Group and Oliy Standard Tex factories. Preliminary agreements on cooperation with the Kuban State Agrarian University were reached at a meeting in the Andijan Farm Free Economic Zone: students will be able to study abroad.
