Ministry of Agriculture of 19 August starts state purchasing intervention grain harvest in 2016 in order to regulate the market of agricultural products, raw materials and food. This was the ministry said.

Purchasing interventions are scheduled to begin in the Republic of Crimea, which is almost completed harvesting of grain and leguminous crops. Crimean commodity producers have collected about 1.5 million tons of grain and are ready to supply it to the domestic market and the intervention fund.

The exchange trades within the purchasing interventions will be carried out at the site of JSC "Crimean Exchange".

The volume of purchases of grain in the intervention fund in the Crimea, can add up to for the agricultural year to 100 thousand. t. It depends on the balance of supply and demand as well as market conditions.
