Ministry of Construction proposed to discontinue the free privatization of housing

Deputy head of the Ministry of Construction and Housing Oleg Betin September 21, said that the agency proposes to abandon the privatization of social housing.
"I think there was a period when mass privatization must be stopped, leave for orphans, those who are left without parents, and give them a choice of social hiring or transfer of ownership after a certain period of time", - said Betin at the Council meeting on human Rights dedicated to housing policy in relation to socially vulnerable categories of citizens.
According to him, mass privatization leads to the fact that housing in the social contract of employment fund is reduced. Because of this, not all socially vulnerable categories of citizens will be able to provide housing.
"We have prepared a draft law with these principles, it was approved in the main legal department and is now sent to the Ministry of Economic Development. I think soon it should go to the government ", - said Betin.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Construction said that now enjoy the possibility of free privatization, including citizens who have income and conceal them, and those who "lives to privatize housing and pass to his heirs."
