The Governor spoke about the results of the federal stage of the All-Russian Exporters' Competition. The region took second place in the export records: Kuban companies won prizes in five nominations.
«Krasnodar Region is one of the largest exporters in the Southern Federal District. The region's share of international trade turnover in the south of the country is almost 40 per cent. Every year the region is rewarded for this great strategic work in the All-Russian Exporter of the Year competition. Now Krasnodar region is in the top three. This is high praise and an incentive for further growth and development of export-oriented industries. In its turn, regional authorities are helping Kuban companies enter foreign commodity markets and continue to actively support non-resource export. Today, regional companies supply their products to more than 150 countries,» Veniamin Kondratiev said.
Evropac-Yug transport and logistics company was the winner in the ‘Exporter of the Year in Services’ category among large businesses. In the SME category, TRUST, an exporter of grocery products, got second places in two categories. The confectionery company Elza also ranked second: it exports biscuits, marmalade, and marshmallows. Abinsk Electro-Metallurgical Plant took third place among large production facilities, exporting steel, copper-coated welding wire, galvanized wire, and rebar in bundles.
